The View From Iona…

The island of Iona was the site of Saint Columba’s abbey, home of his missionary work across Scotland.

“The View from Iona” is our clergy blog.  Here you will find news, resources… and anything else that seems worth sharing.

Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual meeting was held on Sunday January 15th.  Great fellowship, good reports, and plenty of Prayers and Praises.

Gifts for our Friends

On Advent 3 we collected and asked God’s Blessing on Christmas gifts contributed by our members for our friends at St. Martin of Tours Mission and Evangel Home in Fresno.  May God continue to Bless those who gave and those who receive these gifts.  May the Glory of Christ be remembered this season.

Operation Christmas Child

After collecting lots of donations and using lots of hands we assembled over 65 ‘shoe boxes’ to be donated to Operation Christmas Child.  This international Christian organization distributes these boxes around the world to needy children with the gift and Hope of the Christ child.
